This years awards count down begins the 1st of July. We will reset our request system to 0, clear all of our gathered data and restart everything. It is then up the artists, bands and listeners to determine who will win. Artists and bands songs must first be requested through our automated request system. Once they are in the top requests list we will open up our voting system for the listeners. It is important to know that requests are played about an hour after they are received on average. Please note we conform the DMCA laws for air play. If you receive a request failed plaease try your request a little later. If the person making the request is tuned in when that song plays the artists receives a credit toward an award, if the person is not tuned in no credit is issued. This helps prevent abuse by overzealous fans and keeps things fair. Listeners can vote once a day for the band or artist of their choice after they appear in the top requests.
Our new interactive community came about from our listeners suggestions. It's all about you, the music and having fun. What's inside? As the top menu indicates lots of cool stuff. Members can create their own personal page. You can use myspace page and music codes. You can use images in your comments as well as youtube videos. You can record and upload your own personal video using our built in recorder. We don't just have chat, we have text, voice and video chat. That's right! You can see each other as well as the live DJs. We can even have you live on the station using the voice chat. Music artists and bands can upload their music to our player so other members can hear it. Music is not downloadable, sorry. Members can listen to your music. You can create your own music groups or any topic of interest. Every member can make their own blogs. Band promoters are also welcomed. Promote your event or band on RadioNC.
